I had forgotten that the motion of going through organising the selp project really just mimics your life on a smaller scale.
I did remember that the important thing about the project is not so much the project itself, but what you learn about your self in the process, but particularly that the obstacles in my way are exactly the same as the ones I create for my self in my life. My one and only life. I can take on another project or another 25 – but I only have this one life, this one family, this one marriage, this one opportunity to create an extraordinary relationship with my daughters.
One big thing that keeps emerging is lack of action, and lack of clarity/focus.
A phonecall from the LM centre regarding something unrelated brought this to my attention. It reminds me of something that struck me early on in my Landmark Forum in Action series, my coach Sue said to always listen for ‘what’s in it for me’. There is pieces of gold-covered wisdom everywhere, you just need to look out for it.
